Tenor Morgan Manifacier and pianist Corinne Penner have been a duo since 2018 and have since then been heard in many venues across the United States, Europe, and Asia. Devoted to a wide-ranging and diverse repertoire, they have notably performed at Saint Hilda’s College (The University of Oxford), Kulturwerft Gollan with the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival in Lübeck, Conservatoire national supérieur d’Art dramatique in Paris, and Thayer Hall in Los Angeles. They are the grateful recipients of fellowships from several major art-song organizations internationally, including the Franz-Schubert-Institut, the Oxford Lieder Festival Mastercouse, the Toronto Summer Music Festival, SongFest at Colburn, and the Fellowship of the Song at Cincinnati Song Initiative. They were recently awarded the 2022 John Kerr Award Duo Prize for their all-English recital program at Lauderdale House in London, and both serve on the music faculty at Baylor University in Texas.
